oneTap is a morning briefing app for iPhone. When you wake up, you open oneTap first — it shows you everything you need to start your day in one place: your email summary, calendar events, weather, sleep score, finances, and more.
Once you've gone through your brief and tapped Start my day, your other apps unlock and you can use your phone normally. The idea is to replace the habit of opening Instagram or TikTok the second you wake up with something that actually helps.
Your 14-day free trial gives you full access to everything.
The 14-day free trial includes full access to every feature — all connections, the morning focus lock, the to-do & journal, and the AI-generated daily read.
oneTap is a single subscription: everything is included, nothing is held back behind a higher tier. After the trial, keep going for $7.99/month or $59.99/year. Cancel anytime.
oneTap connects directly from your phone to your mail server over an encrypted connection and reads only message headers (sender + subject). It never downloads email bodies or attachments, and cannot send, delete, or change anything. Your app password is stored only in your device's Keychain — never on our servers.
To disconnect: oneTap → Settings → Integrations → Email → Disconnect (this removes the stored password). You can also revoke the app-specific password in your email provider's settings.
oneTap uses Apple's on-device Calendar and Reminders. It reads only today's events and your incomplete reminders to build your agenda — read-only, and processed on your device.
To disconnect: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars / Reminders → oneTap.
Your readiness score, sleep, and HRV for the day will appear in your brief each morning.
oneTap reads only your most recent sleep session. Your raw health records never leave your device — we process them locally and only a summary (e.g. "7h 38m asleep, Recovery 78") is included in your brief.
To disconnect: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → oneTap → turn off Sleep Analysis.
Your recovery score, strain, and sleep performance for the current day will appear in your brief each morning.
Important: oneTap never sees your banking username or password — Plaid handles authentication. We only receive your account balance and a total spend figure. We cannot move money or make transactions of any kind.
To disconnect: oneTap → Settings → Integrations → Finances → Disconnect. This immediately deletes our access token.
A few things to check:
If none of that helps, send us a message below with the integration name and we'll look into it.
oneTap uses iOS Screen Time (Apple's built-in parental controls API) to restrict specific apps until you complete your morning brief.
When you set up the lock:
The lock resets automatically the next morning.
Yes. The lock is soft — it uses Screen Time, which Apple allows you to override at any time. If you need access to a locked app urgently:
The morning lock is designed to create a healthy habit, not to trap you. Phone calls, messages, and emergency services are never restricted.
Open oneTap → Settings → Morning Lock → toggle off. This removes all Screen Time restrictions set by oneTap.
You can also manage it directly in iOS Settings → Screen Time → App Limits.
oneTap starts with a 14-day free trial with full access. After that, it's a single subscription — everything included — for $7.99/month or $59.99/year (about $5/month). To subscribe or change plans: oneTap → Settings → Subscription.
Payment is handled entirely through Apple In-App Purchase — your billing is managed through your Apple ID.
Since billing is handled by Apple, you cancel through your Apple ID — not through oneTap directly:
You'll keep full access until the end of your current billing period. We don't offer partial refunds, but Apple may at their discretion — request refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com.
When your subscription ends, your account and settings are preserved, but your brief stops loading its connections until you resubscribe. Nothing is deleted.
If you delete your account (Settings → Account → Delete Account), all your personal data is permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days. This action is irreversible.
Try restoring your purchase first:
If that doesn't work, make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID used to purchase. If the issue persists, send us a message below and include the email on your oneTap account — we'll sort it out quickly.
No. Never. Your data is used to generate your brief and nothing else. We don't sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
For full details on what we collect and how we handle it, see our Privacy Policy.
Open oneTap → Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account, preferences, and all associated data from our servers within 30 days.
You can also email privacy@theonetap.app to request deletion if you no longer have access to the app.
